BLUE-THROATED STARFRONTLET is named for a spectacular hummingbird that I saw in Colombia last fall. This gorgeous bloom has a dramatic eyezone of medium blue-purple, light violet petals and sepals with a very strong radiating green throat. 3-way branching. 20 buds. Very fertile both ways.

FIERY TOPAZ is considered to be one of the most exotic hummingbirds on the planet. I was privileged to see it on my Colombian birding trip last fall. FIERY TOPAZ is a tall 42" cascade UF with fiery red-purple petals, lighter sepals and an intense radiating green throat. 3-way branching. 25 buds. Easily fertile both ways. GLISTENING-GREEN TANAGER is named for one of the eighty species of tanagers I saw on my Colombia trip. GLISTENING-GREEN TANAGER is a giant diamond-dusted pink-lavender whose immense green throat comes three quarters of the way out onto the petals. GOLDEN-GREEN WOODPECKER is named for yet another Colombian species that I saw on my birding trip. GOLDEN-GREEN WOODPECKER is a light coral-cream on petals and sepals. The midribs have some violet and the intense deep green throat seems to permeate most of the flower. 3-way branching. 20 buds. Very fertile both ways.

PICTURESQUE PATTERN is a large bold bloom with very ruffled cream petals and sepals. POMPADOUR COTINGA is named for yet another spectacular species seen on my Colombian birding trip. Everyone who has seen POMPADOUR COTINGA in the garden has had an enthusiastic response to the great patterning in this eye. POMPADOUR COTINGA is a medium to dark purple on very ruffled petals and sepals. The eyezone usually has five or more layers of white and purple patterning. A pencil line of white runs along the outer edge of the petals and sepals. A nice green throat. 3-way branching. 20 buds. Easily fertile both ways. AMETHYST-THROATED SUNANGEL has a wonderful multilayered patterned eyezone of light amethyst, cream, violet and gray. AMETHYST-THROATED SUNANGEL muted rose-violet on petals and sepals with a nice green throat. 3-way branching. 20 buds. Very fertile both ways. BANDED PEACOCK is a gorgeous round, patterned bloom with light amber-rose petals and sepals. The sumptuous patterned eye is composed of amethyst, cream and violet-gray. LILY LAMBERTSON is a stunning blue eyed and edged bloom. LILY LAMBERTSON is composed of cream petals and sepals with an amethyst and medium blue eye and edge with a large yellow-gold outer edge and bright green throat. This bloom honors my sister Lily who was a real flower lover. 4-way branching. 30 buds. Very fertile both ways.

MANY-BANDED ARACARI is a toucan-like bird that I saw in Colombia that has bands of color across its breast. MANY-BANDED ARACARI is a very large, non-stop blooming patterned flower. The petals and sepals are a cream amber with an eyezone of amethyst, cream, pale violet and gray. MANY-BANDED ARACARI has a small picotee edge on the petals and a nice green throat. 3-way branching. 25 buds. SPARKLING VIOLETEAR is an incredibly complex bitone composed of medium violet petals and light cream-violet sepals. SPARKLING VIOLETEAR has a watermarked eye of gray-violet and dark gray around a yellow appliquéd inner eye. There are yellow cream teeth on petals and sepals and a dark green throat. 3-way branching. 20 buds. Fertile both ways. single fan
