AN ARTIST'S VIEW OF DAYLILIES IN PARADISE!
 Warmest greetings to all our fellow daylily enthusiasts! Welcome to Art Gallery Gardens Spring 2009 daylily website- home to hybridizer LUDLOW LAMBERTSON'S daylily introductions.
We want to give special thanks to our many daylily friends- your passion, support and encouragement has made our journey along the garden pathways a joyful one.
For spring 2009 we have an exciting lineup of fifteen new hybrids. There are six new teeth and tentacled daylilies including the extremely weird VEINED VELOCIRAPTOR, ART IN HEAVEN- a stunner, DIAMOND STAR HALO's outstanding color and TENTACLE TOWER- a powerhouse in breeding. PURPLE HONEY CREEPER has an angelic light blue eye, and VIOLET HEADED HUMMINGBIRD has been throwing the largest blue eyes and edges I've seen. AZURE HOODED JAY has a gray eye and blue edge which are mesmerizingly beautiful. The UF's are great with ON THE WING's spectacular patterned eye. KALEIDOSCOPE CANYON is the supreme bloom in my "Canyon" series. Also in the mix is a round & ruffled with extra wide petals and sepals- FLYING FRISBEE.
Due to the limited quantities of some of Luddy's spring 2009 daylily introductions, we will not be offering a collection price this year. Please e-mail or phone us to check availability before mailing in your order as many daylilies will sell out quickly. We are happy to reserve your daylilies by e-mail or phone!
You may have already seen Ludlow's artwork on the button being used to promote the 'Daylilies in Paradise' theme of the AHS 2009 Daylily National Convention. Central Florida's Sunbelt Daylily Chapter, along with Region 12 will host this exciting event to be held May 20th-23 at the Marriott Hotel in Lake Mary. Art Gallery Gardens is proud to have been chosen as one of gardens that will be visited during the Convention's bus tour. Registration information can be found online at www.ahsregion12.org
