BLUE GOLD MACAW is an oddly different looking blue eyed flower with a very dramatic round blue purple eye and edge; the outer edge is a very strong gold. The petals are a rose violet and on the first set of scapes the sepals are the same color and rolled back. As the season progresses, BLUE GOLD MACAW transforms into a bi-tone with the sepals pointing straight out and turning to a light creamy violet rose. BLUE GOLD MACAW has nice tall scapes with 3-way branching and 20 plus buds. Fertile both ways.

UNICORN TAPESTRY the famous red tapestries in Paris and the green ones at the Cloisters in upper Manhattan. UNICORN TAPESTRY is a monster bloom of 7.5 inches with creamy violet petals and sepals. The huge blue purple eye can be the size of a regular lily. The edge is also blue purple, with the outer eye and inner edge in purple and a fine gold outer edge. UNICORN TAPESTRY has a very green throat, 4 to 5 way branching, 25 plus buds, is very fertile both ways. Good for large blue and patterned eyes.

VIOLET SABREWING was the largest hummingbird that I saw in Costa Rica. Like the bird, VIOLET SABREWING is really a knockout and continues my series of blue eyed UFs. A large bloom of saturated deep violet petals and sepals with a gigantic dark blue purple eye and edge, a fine white line borders the entire bloom. VIOLET SABREWING is interesting in that it looks like a regular bloom with only the last set of scapes where the sepals break away. VIOLET SABREWING has 4-way branching, 20 plus buds and is fertile both ways.
