AERIAL APPLIQUE
(Lambertson) TeT 6.5" Sev E Re 32"

(Stellar Star Seedling X Seedling)

AERIAL APPLIQUE is a large bloom that sits on tall scapes and sings in the wind. The beautiful muted lavender petals and lighter muted lavender sepals are garnished with a lavish medium violet-lavender halo and a spectacular yellow appliqué which leads down into the green throat. This early bloom sets pods easily and is being used in appliquéd regular and UF crosses. 3-way branching, 20 buds. Fertile both ways.

AMETHYST OUTLINED
(Lambertson) TET 7.5" Sev E Re 34"

(Bi-Colored Bite X Blue Haired Girl)

Wow, what a gorgeous UF! A large flower of amethyst purple with an outstanding blue-purple eye & edge and an outer pencil edge in white on both petals and sepals. AMETHYST OUTLINED sets some pods for me. Its pollen has given me many wonderful seedlings with blue & blue patterned eyes and also interesting edging. 3-way branching, 15 buds. Constant rebloom gives this plant a long bloom season.

ARCTIC TERN
(Lambertson) DIP 7.5" Sev ML Re 38"

(Silver Butterfly X Skinwalker)

All of the tern species are elegant looking either sitting or flying. ARCTIC TERN is a beautiful white to lemon yellow UF with a large green throat. This tall late bloom has 5 to 6-way candelabra branching with 35 buds and usually has 3 or more blooms open per day. I am crossing this new diploid into our blue, patterned and white lines. Pollen fertile.

ART GALLERY MIST
(Lambertson) TET 6" Sev EM Re 32"

(Seedling X Seedling)

ART GALLERY MIST is a striking large bloom of light muted violet on both petals and sepals. ART GALLERY MIST’s eye and edge are entrancingly beautiful – a very misty medium purple eye with a misty fuchsia outer band. The eye colors encircle the edge including an outer white pencil line. ART GALLERY MIST has 4-way branching, 32 bud count, is fertile both ways and is a spectacular parent with two other huge eyed intros coming.

ASIAN FAIRY BLUEBIRD
(Lambertson) TET 5.5" Sev M Re 28"

(Awesome Artist X Seedling)

ASIAN FAIRY BLUEBIRD is one of the most beautiful forest birds found from India to Malaysia. Alas, I’ve only seen it in New York City’s Central Park Zoo. This bloom is easily one of my all time favorites. ASIAN FAIRY BLUEBIRD is truly a stunning, exotic flower with medium lavender petals and sepals, a huge navy blue eye & edge with a large gold outer edge. ASIAN FAIRY BLUEBIRD advances the dark blues and navy blue eyes and edges to new heights. Wow, this daylily has stellar plant habits with 5-way branching & 35 bud count. Very fertile both ways, spectacular kids.

BED OF NAILS
(Lambertson) TET 6.5" Sev M Re 30"

(Way Cool Seedling X Flying Saucer Blues)

BED OF NAILS is a wild, oddly different toothy and tentacled daylily. This flower looks different in its presentation every day from looking triangular and almost formal to appearing wild, floppy, twisted and turned. BED OF NAILS is very large, starting out at over 7" and settling down to 6.5". The light cream amber petals and sepals are accented with a soft rose eye & edge with wild white to gold spikes, horns, teeth and tentacles. 4-way branching and 24 buds. Fertile both ways. Wild and weird kids!

BLUE HIPPO
(Lambertson) TET 6" Sev EM Re 26"

(Suddenly Blue Seedling X Infinite Blue Seedling)

BLUE HIPPO’s name was inspired by an ancient Egyptian blue-glazed ceramic hippopotamus. BLUE HIPPO is a paragon in the large medium blue eyed and edged category. BLUE HIPPO is a large cream with a huge medium blue eye and edge. The crackly outer edge is gold. Completing this marvelous composition is a beautiful green throat. When BLUE HIPPO reblooms, the flower seems to get even larger along with its eye and edge which turn to a light blue. Great plant habits with 3 to 4-way branching, displaying 25 buds per scape to perfection. Fertile both ways. Super wow kids!

ELMA TIPTON
(Lambertson) TET 5.5" Sev ML Re 28"

(Seedling X Victorian Lace)

This beautiful pastel white is named for my dear Aunt Elma, my mother’s sister from Elmira, New York. ELMA TIPTON is a full formed, very ruffled white with pastel highlights. It has a slight gold edging. ELMA TIPTON has wonderful 4-way branching with 25 plus buds and usually has multiple blooms open each day. Very fertile both ways. ELMA TIPTON is being used in my blue eyed & edged and white program.

FLORIDA SCRUB-JAY
(Lambertson) TET 6" Sev EM Re 28"

(Birdtalk X Seedling)

Named for a very social friendly bird found in Florida’s scrub habitat. This wonderful patterned eyed & edged daylily has amber pink petals and pink amber sepals. The mesmerizing eye has light blues and grays and is outlined in fuchsia. This eye color is carried all around the petal edge with the outer edge a glittering gold. FLORIDA SCRUB-JAY has 3-way branching and 15 to 20 buds. With constant rebloom, it has a very long season. Fertile both ways.

FREE BIRD
(Lambertson) TET 6.5" Sev E Re 26"

(Awesome Artist X Seedling)

FREE BIRD was a major hit with garden visitors. FREE BIRD has medium lavender petals and light lavender sepals with a huge light blue-purple eye and edge. A gold braid is on the outer edge. FREE BIRD blooms early, setting pods easily with outstanding results. FREE BIRD has 3-way branching with 15 buds and has constant rebloom with an extended bloom season. Fertile both ways. Flying!

JURASSIC JAWS
(Lambertson) TET 7.5" Sev EM Re 32"

(Way Cool Seedling X Tet Spindazzle Seedling)

I owe half the credit to Dan Trimmer for this flower, the pollen having come from his daylily nicknamed Laughing Hyena. JURASSIC JAWS is a monumental bloom, the best toothy I’ve created. Even though it blooms fairly early, it always has large teeth and tentacles. JURASSIC JAWS has medium red-purple petals with a darker red-purple eye and cream rose stippled and streaked sepals- making it a true bi-color. Encircling this colossal bloom, the petals have enormous white & gold teeth, tentacles and crinkles. JURASSIC JAWS has 4-way branching with 25 buds. Its pollen has given me a fantastic number of kids. No pods for me. Jaws!

LIEGE & LIEF
(Lambertson) TET 5.5" Sev EM Re 28"

([Ed Brown x Way Cool seedling] X Strawberry Fields Forever)

LIEGE & LIEF’s name is taken from the best British folk-rock album ever. LIEGE & LIEF is a great tentacled daylily with rich medium purple petals and sepals, a gorgeous medium blue-purple eye & edge, with a stunning white and gold glittering tentacled outer edge. LIEGE & LIEF has beautiful 3-way branching, 20 buds and is fertile both ways. Coolest kids!

ORNATE HAWK-EAGLE
(Lambertson) TET 5.5" Sev E Re 24"

(Amber Spyglass X Suddenly Blue)

ORNATE HAWK-EAGLE, wow- what a bloom! This extra exotic flower has medium violet amber petals and sepals with a large medium blue eye and inner edge. The outer eye and edge have darker blue and fuchsia bands, a large bold gold braid completes this complex composition. ORNATE HAWK-EAGLE flies with 4-way branching, 20 buds. Fertile both ways, with lofty kids.

PAINTED BUNTING
(Lambertson) DIP 7" Ev M Re 40"

(Harbor Blue X Mauna Twirler)

PAINTED BUNTING is probably America’s most beautifully colored bird. This delicate UF has gorgeous light lavender-purple petals and lighter lavender-purple sepals. The glowing ethereal light blue-purple eye can look patterned above its nice green throat. PAINTED BUNTING has 4-way branching and 30 buds per scape. Fertile both ways and a good tool for my diploid UF program.

PURPLE-EYED DRAGONFLY
(Lambertson) TET 6" Sev EM Re 26"

(Seedling X Seedling)

PURPLE-EYED DRAGONFLY is about real drama. PURPLE-EYED DRAGONFLY has medium cream yellow petals and sepals with a super dramatic, electric, startling eye and edge of deep purple with an outer edge of white and gold. PURPLE-EYED DRAGONFLY has a beautiful green throat and is producing a nice array of cool eyezones and edgings in its kids. It has 3 to 4-way branching, 25 buds and is fertile both ways.

RAZOR EYES
(Lambertson) TET 7" Sev M Re 33"

(Seedling X Seedling)

This flower was nicknamed RAZOR EYES the first day it bloomed because of the razor-like protrusions coming out of its eye. RAZOR EYES is a compelling cream pastel on petals and sepals with probably my most tantalizing UF eye yet. The red-purple eye and slight purple picotee edge has razor-like fingers coming out of the eye. The white and light purple mid-rib make the eye explode. The throat goes from yellow down to green. RAZOR EYES has 4-way branching, 30 buds per scape. Fertile both ways. Wild eyed kids!

SPIRAL NEBULA
(Lambertson) TET 9" Sev E Re 34"

([Gerda Brooker x Stippled Stars x Eyes A Blue Seedling] X Blue Eyed Curls)

SPIRAL NEBULA is a huge spinning spiral of color. This pattern-eyed beauty is a twisting crispate UF. SPIRAL NEBULA has light yellow petals and sepals. A red and blue-purple patterned eye is beautifully displayed on both petals AND sepals. It also has a slight picotee edging. SPIRAL NEBULA has 4-way branching, 25 buds. Haven’t gotten any pods, but it’s the parent of a huge picoteed UF future.

STIPPLED STARSHIP
(Lambertson) TET 7" Sev M Re 29"

(Stippled Stars Seedling X Jurassic Jaws)

STIPPLED STARSHIP is a really fantastic pinched crispate UF. STIPPLED STARSHIP takes stippling and teeth to a new dimension. STIPPLED STARSHIP has creamy pale rose petals, lighter creamy pale rose sepals with a very interesting light stippled purple eye and edge. The outer edge has huge white to gold sharksteeth on both petals and sepals. STIPPLED STARSHIP has 3-way branching, 20 buds, is fertile both ways. Kids are out of this world!

TITANIC TOWER
(Lambertson) TET 10.5" Sev M Re 42"

(Freudian Slip Seedling X Royal Celebration Seedling)

TITANIC TOWER – I thought this would be my first true spider but it didn’t quite make it, so this bloom is a twisting crispate UF. TITANIC TOWER has really beautiful pure color of pink-lavender petals and lighter pink-lavender sepals. The throat goes from white to yellow to green. TITANIC TOWER has stellar plant habits with 4 to 5-way branching and 30 buds. No pods, but good pollen to make big, beautiful clear-colored kids.
